McHenry Cartridge Company, located in Hebron, IL. is a small arms ammunition manufacturing company focused on producing high quality ammunition to meet the demands of local and regional firearm owners.
The company was established by two friends, Zach and Chris , who recognized the potential to use their talents and passions to start a business within the ammunition industry. What started as a simple conversation, grew quickly into McHenry Cartridge Company.

Zach is an engineer with 11 years of experience in operating and managing a mid-sized, high volume manufacturing operation. He brings a strong understanding and working knowledge of managing, growing, and running the day to day operations of a business.
Chris has multiple graduate-level degrees and has been actively involved in the shooting sports for the past 25 years. His current passion is in extreme long range precision shooting and has been loading pistol, rifle, and shotgun ammunition for the past 20 years. During that period he has loaded hundreds of thousands of rounds and has taught recreational, competitive, and precision shooters both basic and advanced handloading practices. Chris possesses a strong knowledge of applied ballistics, load development, and the skills it takes to produce precision-grade ammunition.
